Smartech At WETEX 2012 To Be The Largest Gathering Of ’Green’ Technologies Ever Seen In The Region
In support of its commitment to conservation and in reinforcement of its leadership on driving environmental sustainability, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) today announced that its forthcoming SmarTech, at WETEX 2012 exhibition, is open for registration and set to be a bigger event than 2011 with companies from around the world showcasing a wide variety of energy and water-efficient products, ‘green’ goods and related technologies and services.Introduced in March this year during the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition, (WETEX 2011) SmarTech is the only dedicated environmental marketing platform in the Middle East where brand owners, manufacturers, dealers, distributors and retailers come together to demonstrate their innovations, solutions and conceptions that are paramount to the cause of sustaining our precious resources and safe-guarding planet earth.
The three-day exhibition spectacle, part of WETEX, is organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and U.A.E. Finance Minister, in cooperation with The Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai and will also feature high quality industry seminars, lectures and workshops for exhibitors to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest ideas and developments in the area of energy-efficient and water-efficient parameters.

During the three-day exhibition, companies, brands and establishments upholding the ‘green’ spirit in their products and services will also be recognized upon meeting DEWA’s energy-efficient and water-efficient parameters, for their commitment to sustainability, with an official ‘Letter of Recommendation.

The SmarTech 2012 event is scheduled to be held from 13th - 15th March 2012 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will enable businesses from across the globe to promote their ‘green’ goods and services to the 15,000-plus visitors attracted to WETEX.
