Sharjah Islamic Bank Ramadan Tent Hosts Lecture By Sheikh Bu Zokm Titled ’Change Your Life’

Sharjah Islamic Bank Ramadan Tent, which is being held in the emirate of Sharjah for the 6th consecutive year in collaboration with government and private organizations in Sharjah, continues its miscellaneous activities and is gearing up to host the renowned Islamic preacher Sheikh Sultan Abdullah Al Otaibi (Bu Zokm) in a lecture titled ’Change Your Life’. Presented in association with Watani Program on Saturday, 28th of July, the lecture is part of a series of lectures being hosted as part of the tent’s activities. Al Otaibi is expected to speak about the fundamentals and strategies of dealing with life, how to benefit from the various experiences of successful people, the importance of ideal investment of timing, attempts to change the old life styles that form the reason behind delay of many people’s progress, and present strategic instructions to facilitate life style change in an easy and straightforward manner. Speaking on the occasion, Hassan Al Balgoni, Head of Public Relations and CSR division at the SIB, Head of the SIB Ramadan Tent’s Organizing Committee, said, "We are gearing up to host unique evenings in presence of Sheikh Al Otaibi (Bu Zokm), who is famous for his use of wit and sense of humor to address topics that meet the needs of all ages, as well as social and cultural classes. The title of the lecture was carefully selected to impart valuable knowledge value which serves the goal of the awareness tent and augurs well for the coming sessions". Sheikh Sultan Abdullah Al Otaibi was born in the Kingdom Saudi Arabia in 1973, and is currently working as an Islamic preacher at Sheikh Eid bin Mohammed Al Thani Charity Foundation and a therapist at the social rehabilitation centre in Al Aween. He holds a Bachelor Degree in psychology and is preparing to Master in Psychological Guidance and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. He has completed a number of training courses and has obtained numerous certificates. Al Otaibi has participated in a number of rehabilitation courses in cooperation with KSA Ministries of Interior in the KSA, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait, and organized courses on detecting early signs of addiction among students and the necessary social rehabilitation. He participated in media and health conferences through a number of radio and television programs through various radios and satellite channels, including the ’Shababiat’ - Youth Issues - program on Holy Quran Radio in Qatar.
