With Sharjah turning out to be the favourite destination for residents and visitors this Ramadan, the visitor turnout at the Ramadan Nights at Expo Centre Sharjah has more than doubled in the first six days of the 16-day event. Moreover, making the show one of the largest and most sought-after events in the country and the region, the number of exhibitors too has nearly doubled to 180 this year. According to initial data, the 16-day Ramadan Nights, which got under way on June 15, attracted 52,070 visitors in first six days compared to 26,151 during the same period last year. The massive increase in footfall reflects the surge in consumer confidence, demand and spending this season. It also underscores the significance of Sharjah as a favourite destination. With its family friendly atmosphere, ample parking, and proximity to Dubai, & Northern Emirates, Expo Centre Sharjah has become the preferred destination for residents and visitors alike said H.E. Exhibitors and visitors vouch for the uniqueness of event, stressing that there is no other event that caters to all the shopping requirements of residents and visitors, right from branded clothes to household goods and electronics, under one single roof. According to a straw poll of visitors, what makes the event attractive is its comprehensive range of household products, Fashion Sports apparel, Lifestyle, food courts and an exciting line-up of amusement activities. Another irresistible reason to visit the show is the massive 80% discount being offered by major retailers throughout the entire duration of the show. Exhibitors are expecting a bigger visitor turnout since dates of Eid Al Fitr are nearing and consumer preference takes a big turn towards gift items and other electronic and consumer goods.
