SEDD Achieved 93% Customer Satisfaction In 2017

Sharjah Economic Development Department, SEDD, achieved 93 per cent satisfaction rate for its customers in 2017, according to a periodic survey conducted to measure the satisfaction of customers with the services provided to them in order to reach the highest degree of satisfaction with the services provided by the Department. The survey conducted by SEDD on a random sample of dealers showed that the percentage of customer’s satisfaction with the SEDD services at "Tasheel" service centers in 2017 reached 94 per cent. However, the satisfaction rate of customers for electronic services in the same year was 96 per cent. As for their satisfaction rates in the area of Consumer Protection, the percentage reached 63 per cent last year, whereas the satisfaction rate of respondents for 2017 was 61 per cent. The results of the survey reflect the economic success of Sharjah in developing an integrated concept of electronic and smart services, including smooth service delivery, as well as service delivery through multiple channels, with easy access, on a large basis of accuracy and professionalism. Commenting on such thing, Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, SEDD Chairman, said that these studies and opinion surveys are part of the Department's keenness to identify customers' satisfaction with the services they provide and to identify deficiencies and aspects of excellence at the branches, departments, divisions and individuals levels. ''The Department is always seeking to develop its services to investors and clients as the main element to facilitate procedures and transactions in order to reach them the highest degree of satisfaction with the services it provides,'' he added. Al Suwaidi stressed that SEDD pays great attention to achieve the objectives and determinants of government visions and strategic plans by strengthening its role in leading the sustainable economic development of the Emirate in cooperation and coordination with its strategic partners from government, semi-governmental and private sectors. |
