Emirates Airline And AGMC Sponsor The Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2018

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) announced that Emirates Airline and the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC) will participate as official sponsors for the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2018. The festival, which is in its 28th edition, launched its events and activities on the first day of Ramadan. The SCCI praised the keenness of the participating public and private sector institutions to cooperate in making the festival a success, whether by sponsoring, supporting or attending the events and activities of the festival. The chamber also expressed its thanks to Emirates Airline and the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC) for sponsoring the festival. Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director of Economic Relations and Marketing at the SCCI, stated that the sponsorship of both Emirates Airlines and the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC) to the festival is a source of pride for the chamber, as the event is one of the initiatives that combines the efforts of both the private and public sectors in the aim of increasing the happiness of the members of the community and raising their quality of life. Al Jarwan stressed that the chamber is keen to build partnerships with the private sector in order to organize economic and social activities that contribute to energizing the economy. He also expressed the chamber’s gratitude to Emirates Airline and the Arabian Gulf Mechanical Centre (AGMC), as well as all the institutions that supported the festival and its various activities. Khalid Al Serkal, District Manager at Emirates airline for Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, stated that Emirates is determined to support events and activities that aim to enhance the various economic sectors in the UAE. Al Serkal added, “We are happy to support the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2018 as an official sponsor, and to contribute in facilitating the access of visitors to the emirate in order for them to enjoy the festival’s various familial activities and to take advantage of the special deals that are offered by hotels and shopping malls to their guests.” Commenting on BMW’s support of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, Osman Abdelmoneim, General Manager AGMC, said: “We are delighted to be engaging with the community of Sharjah through our support of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2018. This is an excellent initiative held throughout the Holy Month to offer families and visitors an opportunity to take part in a variety of activities and events, of which BMW are proud to be a part of.” The events and activities of the festival will take place all over the Emirate of Sharjah and will last until June 18. The festival will witness various cultural, religious, economic and recreational events and activities. The festival will also include the participation of various shopping malls and retail outlets that have launched a variety of shopping discounts, with offers up to 75% off. The festival will also organize draws for a variety of valuable prizes, which include 5 luxury vehicles that have been assigned by some of the participating shopping malls to their lucky winning visitors, as a way to enhance the festival’s status as a leading destination for shopping and entertainment during the month of Ramadan.
