1020Avenue announced the launch of its new business concept which is aimed at supporting the local startup enterprises and offering innovative solutions and services to entrepreneurs and SMEs in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, with the aim to help their businesses grow and thrive through a range of innovative branding and marketing solutions that perfectly fit entrepreneurs. 

1020Avenue is an integrated showcasing, marketing and selling platform that helps small and medium entrepreneurs grow and develop their enterprises.

1020Avenue, with its new concept of department stores, aims to offer integrated commercial solutions to SMEs and entrepreneurs, such as showcasing, marketing, sales, consultancies and awareness events. The centre will host a variety of events that will highlight the success stories of local and regional brands and businesses and the most inspiring entrepreneurs who can be considered as role models to emulate, in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the national economy.

On the same regards, 1020Avenue announced the opening of registration in their first exhibition in 2018, which will run from the beginning of the Holy month of Ramadan until October. Entry will be open to all SMEs from all nationalities, based inside the UAE or abroad, and working in fashion design, abaya design, cosmetics, perfume making, home accessories and food products. Speaking on the occasion, Mariam Al Shamsi, Founder and CEO of 1020Avenue, said that the new concept is launched to meet the expectations of the SME community in the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, as well as to promote the pioneering concepts in entrepreneurship, by providing an innovative platform offering all the sales and marketing services and facilities for SMEs and entrepreneurs under one roof. 

She added: “Since inception, the centre was supported by various entities in the Emirate of Sharjah, including the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sharjah Business Women Council, and Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa). “This significant support encouraged us to move forward and provide more cost effective services to entrepreneurs, helping them save time and efforts and reduce labor cost. We adopt department store concept, where entrepreneurs will showcase their products, while we will take care of marketing, sales and after-sale services. 1020Avenue is poised for a quantum leap in the retail sector”, she added.

Al Shamsi clarified that 1020Avenue organizes two annual permanent exhibitions, for six month each, providing sufficient time to entrepreneurs to exhibit their products in a fully equipped and serviced business environment. “It is a cost effective solution for new businesses, as there is no need to hire promotion and sales representatives”, she concluded.
