Jawaher Al Qasimi launches RQ’s Science & Technology Centre

H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Rubu' Qarn for Creating Leaders and Innovators, today launched the Science and Technology Centre, a subsidiary that operates under Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators (RQ) in Sharjah. The decision aligns with RQ's vision and mission, which strives to build and empower a generation of influential individuals in different fields of specialisation. The new centre is an exceptional gateway to the world of innovation and scientific excellence, attracting and nurturing promising Emirati talents in science and technology (STEM). The RQ STEM Centre will form collaborative opportunities with organisations from the public and private sectors across the UAE to organise competitions, forums, and events that support its mission. The centre empowers individuals to deepen their scientific research, hone their design and critical thinking abilities, and propose innovative, practical solutions to real-world challenges through technical projects, programmes, and specialised courses. Ultimately, the centre aims to advance the UAE's scientific and technological leadership in addressing contemporary issues and building a more human-centric future. Headquartered at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, RQ Science & Technology forges strategic partnerships to create a stimulating environment that drives creativity, innovation, and elevates the UAE's global reputation in research and technology sector.
