In a significant step reflecting its leadership in education and cultural heritage preservation, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) has achieved a groundbreaking milestone by obtaining the ISO 21001:2018 certification for Educational Organizations Management Systems. This achievement positions the institute as the first governmental educational institution in Sharjah and the first cultural institution in the Middle East to receive this prestigious certification in education, cementing its status as a pioneering organization blending authenticity with innovation. Ongoing Contributions to Education and Heritage This accomplishment is a testament to the SIH’s continuous efforts in advancing education and cultural heritage. The certification follows the SIH’s successful renewal of its accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in September 2024 for a three-year period, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence. The ISO certification, valid from December 2024 to December 2027, is subject to annual reviews, ensuring ongoing compliance with the highest quality standards.
