Air Arabia, the low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, announced that it has added its fourth destination in Ukraine with the launch of flights to Odessa. Air Arabia is UAE’s first airline to enter Odessa and represents the carrier’s fourth destination in Ukraine. Flights to the Ukrainian City will start on October 12th marking Air Arabia’s 76th destination worldwide.
The carrier will offer services to Odessa on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing from Sharjah International Airport at 09:25 and arriving at Odessa International Airport at 12:40. Return flights will depart from Odessa on the same days at 13:40 and arrive in Sharjah at 20:20 (local time). The inaugural flight, G90297 will take-off from Sharjah International Airport on Friday, 12 October 2012.
The launch of services to Odessa increases Air Arabia’s flights to Ukraine to 10 weekly flights, complementing the carriers existing service to Kiev, Donetsk and Kharkiv.

The fourth largest city in Ukraine, Odessa holds a special place in the country’s cultural history. The city, which is located in the southern Ukraine, is home to one million residents, and is a popular tourist destination with many museums and beaches around the city.
