Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) held a special ceremony, titled “A Day of Appreciation and Gratitude” to honor our partners and sponsors, various members of the media and supporters who contributed to the success club’s different events and activities held through 2012. The ceremony was attended by Khawla Al Serkal, Director of SLC, Nada Al Naqbi, Women Sports Department Manager and various managers of the club.

At First, Marwa Al Khatib, Media Executive at SLC, welcomed all representatives of various government and private institutions as well as the attending journalists. Al Khatib thanked them for their unwavering support for the club’s almost 100 events and activities which serves women and children and seeks ultimate respite for its visitors. Then, Ms Khawla Al Serkal was called upon stage to award all sponsors with certificates of appreciation along with prizes for attendees.

On the other hand, Women Sports Department awarded the sponsors and media with the presence of Nada Al Naqbi, for the constant support which helped in accomplishing WSD’s vision.

“The club is keen in the interest and importance of all individuals and institutions that supported us over the past years, and this evening was special thanks for their great support and contribution they have given us within various activities, events, and campaigns. So, we wanted to honor our supporters who worked in helping us achieving and accomplishing the vision of the Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and Sharjah Ladies Club. We hope to continue this unwavering cooperation in the future so that we can provide the best entertaining, educational and awareness services for individuals”, said Khawla Al Serkal.

In conclusion, Al Khatib wished all attendees to enjoy the rest of the day, having the purpose and aim to build and develop future relationships with the supporters and media.

It is worthy to mention that Sharjah Ladies Club celebrated its 30th anniversary with a series of accomplishments and achievements made throughout the years. Based on that, the trophies represented to the awardees symbolized this occasion in having the 30th logo.
