’Emirati Cuisine Creations’ Attract Huge Numbers Of Visitors And Tourists At Al Qasba Festival

The food of the Emirates has been drawing large crowds of visitors, all of whom have been impressed with the diverse range of culinary creations dishes prepared by the elite group of renowned local and international chefs taking part in the 7th annual Al Qasba Food Festival, which is due to conclude on April 13.

Visitors to the food festival have consistently praised the many wonderful dishes that have been created during the Festival, which are proving the ability of Emirati food to compete with other top international cuisines. They also especially applauded the Emirati chefs for the skills they have been displaying in creating wonderful combinations of traditional and modern food.

Speaking on the occasion Sultan Shattaf, Al Qasba Manager, said, "The focus of this year’s edition of the Al Qasba Food Festival is Emirati cuisine creations. Food forms an extremely important part of any nation’s culture and we wanted to highlight the wonderful variety of both traditional and modern Emirate dishes. Though the Festival we have been celebrating the UAE’s authentic and rich food heritage and have been able to share this heritage with people from all over the world.

’’The food festival has managed to attract a large number of visitors and participants who have been taking part in its many food competitions and enjoying the displays that are running along with the Festivals other exciting activities and fun-filled events. We are looking forward to welcoming even larger numbers of people over the next few days to enjoy all that the Festival has to offer." The festival will continue until next Saturday, promising the audience a very exciting program on Thursday and Friday (11-12 April).

Al Liwa Traditional Band and Al Ayala Traditional Band will be keeping visitors entertained in the intervals with traditional Emirati music alongside the Festival’s many dance performances, musical shows, and street art performances, designed to entertain and enthral the audience.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the spectacular food displays and the gourmet food exhibition that includes displays of international delicacies and the creations of local food talents. Taking care of the next generation, the ’Little Chef Workshop’ will see chef Ahtim inspire little chefs who will gather to show their cooking talents at the Little Chef Corner market.
