Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, today celebrated its five years of successful operations in Ukraine.
Air Arabia entered Ukraine with regular services to Kiev in 2008, and since then the airline continued to demonstrate strong growth into the country. Today, the low cost pioneer operates seven weekly non-stop services, which will be increased to 17 in October 2013, from its primary hub in Sharjah, UAE, to four destinations in Ukraine.
Commenting on the fifth anniversary in Ukraine, the airline’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Adel Ali, said: “Air Arabia attributes the success to the special relationship it enjoys with its customers in Ukraine, as well as the vast potential that the country’s aviation sector offers. We are glad to announce the increase in frequency of Ukraine services to 17 weekly flights by October this year.”
Ali added: “This milestone is especially significant for Air Arabia as we continue to expand in Ukraine and the wider CIS region. Since our entry into the country in 2008, we have been offering enormous choice for customers seeking to travel between Ukraine and UAE, and beyond.”
Destinations that Air Arabia serves in Ukraine are: Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Odessa.
