As part of Emirates Post Group’s strategy to offer diversified services to the public, an outlet of Sahara Catering was opened at the Sharjah Central Post Office recently.
The new outlet was inaugurated by Mr. Abdullah Salem Busomnoh, Director of 3rd Postal Zone, and Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Director of Sales, Emirates Post Group, accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Zeyeter, Director of Events and a number of officials from both sides.
The outlet provides cafeteria services to the staff and customers of Sharjah Central Post Office.
Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Post Group, commented: “Emirates Post Group is going ahead with its policy ofrenting out its premises for different services, in response to customer demand. We hope these will be found useful by our customers.”
He added that Emirates Post had devised a strategy to expand the basket of services by signing agreements with major organisations to provide diversified services and products to the public under one roof, under the rules and regulations laid down by Emirates Post Group.
Fahad Al Khouri, co-founder of Sahara Catering, said he was pleased to open the new outlet for the benefit of Emirates Post customers, specifically in the Sharjah Central Post Office, which operates seven days a week. The Sahara Cateringhas a strong commitment to providing quality catering and hospitality services, including snacks.
Since the launch of Emirates Post’s new strategy in early 2012, a number of private companies have set up operations in post offices, including some banks, travel agencies and business centers.
The new outlet will follow the working hours of the Sharjah Central Post Office, from 08:00 am to 09:00 pm.
