In conjunction with the Sharjah Islamic Culture Capital 2014 Celebrations and under the patronage of Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness SheikhaJawaherBint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and Chairperson of Sharjah Ladies Club, the Sharjah Ladies Club will host the" Wonders of East" exhibition which is set to take place on the 16th and 17th of April.

The extravagant exhibition will include fashion shows from the finest local and international designers, and will also feature stunning Islamic garments along with luxurious high-end jewellery. An accompanying exhibition will showcase exquisite collections of antique pieces, precious gems, and watches. In addition, there will be interactive workshops on calligraphy and painting.

Khawla Al Serkal, Director of Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “As part of the Sharjah Islamic Culture Capital 2014 celebrations, we decided to organize the "Wonders of East" exhibition, which is right in alignment with this wonderful occasion. The exhibition will be full of activities for families and will also expose them to the different types of arts and heritage that the Emirate has to offer."

The exhibition will open its doors from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 16th, and from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on the 17th, enabling working families to take part in this exciting event.
