Beenas, one of the Arab world’s popular luxury and trendy Jalabiya brand with boutiques in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, is now part of Waffer, a unique privileges and discount programme designed for the current and retired employees of Sharjah government and their families.

Currently, about 140 companies across 20 categories of economic activities are enrolled for the programme. The one of its kind employee’s welfare scheme benefits over 25,000 employees and their families, retired staff and beneficiaries of Sanad card.

With Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqer Al Qassimi as the Head of the Waffer Programme Committee, the programme is getting enlarged with more private businesses coming on board and it is supporting Sharjah economy while providing immense benefits to the members in line with the vision and community and employees welfare aspirations of the Government of Sharjah.

Under the programme, members are offered discounts ranging upwards from 15 per cent across various economic activities including shopping malls, fashion houses, boutiques, restaurants, health and fitness centres, educational and training programmes, salons among others.

“We are very happy to be part of the programme that benefits the employees of Sharjah government and others eligible beneficiaries. We are offering 15 per cent discount to the Waffer members,” said Beena Soni whose Jalabiya brand has its origin in Sharjah about 17 years ago.

Beenas has launched its much-awaited Ramadan and Eid collection whose hallmarks are the exquisite golden and silver embroidery, imaginative patterns, cool colours combination and the use of silk and cotton for comfort ability. She had launched the summer collection in April. Her Jalabiyas combines Arabic tradition and modern fashion. Each jalabiya is an individual work of art in terms of technique, design, material and cuts. Beenas has introduced a different cut to one jalabiya which can be worn with jeans for a more casual look and comfort.
