Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) successfully participated in the 3-day Big 5 Construct India 2014 that concluded on 13 September at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.

"Construct India is an important event for us. This is the second time we are participating in Construct India," said Mr. Saud Al Mazrouei, Director of Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone).

"The Big5 was an excellent venue to showcase our portfolio and enhance our access to the lucrative subcontinent markets. Our team, Raed Bukhatir, Deputy Commercial Director of SAIF Zone, and Ali Mohamed Al Mutawa, Sales Officer, met a large number of investors in the construction sector from overseas and all over India," he added.

The three-day exhibition, which was organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICC), Ministry of Urban Development, attracted over 4000 industry professionals and 150 exhibitors representing 22 countries.

Raed Bukhatir, Deputy Commercial Director of SAIF Zone said, "Our participation was successful and the response was quite encouraging. We met a number of serious investors who would like to expand their business to the SAIF Zone." "The exhibition provided a good platform for us to meet leading businessmen and we shared innovative ideas with them," Bukhatir added.
