Tandeef, the waste collection division of Bee'ah, in collaboration with Hamriyah Municipality, has organised a clean-up campaign at the five kilometre Al Hamriya beach.
The campaign was led by Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director General of Hamriyah Municipality and a number of the Municipality's management members, Marwan Al Shamsi, Director of Collection and Cleansing Business at Bee'ah, Hamad Al Tunaiji, Senior Director of Tandeef, and a number of the company's employees.
The campaign comes within the framework of the mutual cooperation between Bee'ah and Sharjah Municipalities and supports the development of a common vision pertaining to compliance with the highest international standards in terms of cleaning, recycling, and environment protection practices to meet the satisfaction of Sharjah's residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director General of Hamriyah Municipality, said: "We are delighted with the support of Bee'ah and their contribution to cleaning and protecting the city beach. This campaign reflects their commitment to the protection of our environment and raising awareness of environmental issues through the various campaigns and initiatives they launch. Preserving the environment is the shared responsibility of all members of the community. Therefore, we confirm our willingness to provide the necessary support to any initiative that would keep our environment clean." Khaled Al Huraimel, Bee'ah Group CEO, said: "The campaign is in line with the company's efforts to promote environmental awareness through organising dedicated activities. A number of the city's residents participated in the campaign and expressed their happiness.
