The Permanent Committee for Land Allocation in Sharjah has approved 320 applications seeking plots for investment and residential purposes, out of which 280 plots were allocated for investments and 45 plots to citizens for residential purposes.
Walid bin Falah Al Mansouri, head of the committee, said the applications were approved after the scrutiny in a meeting held at the Department of Planning and Survey in Sharjah, adding that the committee also reviewed the appeals submitted by those citizens whose applications were declined. He added that the committee took a number of decisions in this respect.
Al Mansouri noted that the committee also tackled certain issues connected to the allocation of land, and in this regard cleared some procedures to ensure better service delivery to citizens.
