Al Sha’far Urges Sharjah Residency To Deliver Customer Service Excellence

During an inspection visit to the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior encouraged staff members to maintain excellence in the delivery and development of services provided to the public, allowing customers to complete their transactions smoothly and easily, as per the institutional excellence standards.

Lt. General Al Sha’far, accompanied by Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, was greeted upon arrival by Colonel Aref Mohammed Al Shamesi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, along with heads of departments, and a number of officers from the directorate general.

The Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior reviewed the workflow and called upon staff members to fulfill thejob requirements in a timely and accurate manner, streamline customers’ transactions, and to improve business quality and performance in order to upgrade work standards to the highest levels.

Lt. General Al Sha’far held a meeting with the Director General and heads of departments, who briefed him on the work procedures. Moreover, he called for leveraging all available resources to overcome potential obstacles that may impede work, provide integrated services while complying with the conditions and regulations, and to constantly follow-up on the strategic initiatives and excellence projects so as to improve and boost performance. In conclusion, Lt. General Al Sha’far praised the efforts exerted to provide these services to customers.

For his part, Colonel Aref Al Shamesi expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, as well as his keenness to follow-up on the affairs and concerns of the various police entities. He also commended the unrelenting support to develop the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector, in pursuance of the aspirations envisioned by the police leadership.
