HH Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, and President of the University of Sharjah, today opened an exhibition showcasing graduates' works of the University's College of Fine Arts and Design for the academic year 2014-2015 at the College campus.
A number of top local officials and faculty including Professor Hamid Al Naimiy Chancellor of the University, and Dr. Essam Nasr Selim, Acting Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Design.
After cutting the traditional red ribbon, Sheikh Sultan toured the exhibition which features works on fine arts, fashion design with textile, interior architecture and design and graphic design and multimedia.
The College of Fine Arts and Design offers bachelor’s degree programs in its four fully accredited programs – Multimedia and Graphic Design, Interior Architecture and Design, Fashion Design and Fine Arts. During study, students gain creative skills, empathy, innovation, creativity, design skills, storytelling and big-picture thinking.
