Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centre Sharjah, owned and operated by the region’s leading shopping mall, retail, and leisure pioneer, features a host of exciting cultural activities and a chance to shop and win from 1-20 December to honour the UAE’s 44th National Day.

“For this year’s National Day, we offered a whole host of entertainment, creating ‘great moments’ with captivating and memorable activities throughout the mall for guests of all ages to participate and enjoy the patriotic period,” said Mariam Al Jasmi, Mall Manager at City Centre Sharjah.

During 1-4 December, shoppers explored a unique interactive experience including a projection of the UAE flag with a 3-D pop up heart, displaying the admiration of the UAE in City Centre Sharjah. This was the perfect backdrop for shoppers to take photos which were posted behind the wall. The mosaic of images created a patriotic version of UAE flag and provided a fantastic photo opportunity for guests.

In addition, during the long weekend, City Centre Sharjah hosted enchanting dancers traditional to the culture of the UAE. ‘Khaleeji Dance’ performers entertained shoppers with national dance styles whilst being accompanied by the famous local band Ayyalah. The music and movement show encouraged guests throughout the mall to celebrate the spirit, heritage and traditions of the UAE.

Also, until December 20, visitors to City Centre Sharjah can enter a daily draw by spending AED 200 at any stores. Winners will receive AED 2000 worth in Gift Cards daily. One lucky winner will be awarded the grand prize of a Gift Card worth AED 44,000, in honour of the 44th anniversary of the Union.

Social media fans can also engage in some fun as City Centre Sharjah invites fans who are celebrating their birthday between 1 and 20 of December to publish photos of their special birthday memories to receive a complimentary birthday cake!
