Double Celebrations At Sharjah Jewellery Show
(28 March 2016)

An exciting double delight awaits lovers of gold and diamond jewellery this season.
Apart from unprecedented celebrations to mark the 40th edition of MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show, Expo Centre Sharjah is bringing together an exclusive range of jewellery carefully chosen from across the world for the special event.

From exquisite lines of hand-made jewellery and ethnic & contemporary designs to feminine silhouettes & motifs, gold-layered pieces and chokers and other statement necklaces, visitors will be spoilt for choice from countries that are known for their quality, craftsmanship and innovation.

“The 40th MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show is going to be a big celebration, where, apart from never-seen-before festivities, you can expect the best of the jewellery from across the world. You can find traditional works from India, the world’s most beautiful and sought-after jewellery from Italy, and fine handcrafted and creative designs from Singapore while Thai master jewellers will wow you with their refinement in craftsmanship,” said Mr. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.
Incidentally, some of these countries will have the largest pavilions at the show, with India having a pavilion consisting of 74 exhibitors, Hong Kong 63, Italy 29, Lebanon 27, Singapore and Malaysia 20, Thailand 12 and China 10.

Most of the exhibitors who have confirmed their participation are well-known names in their respective countries and will present their choicest collections at the show. Inaaya, which sources jewels from across the world and painstakingly crafts each piece as a work of art, will be a first-time exhibitor from India.

Jewels By Queenie, another first-timer from India, is famed for its exquisite line of hand-made fine jewellery where all pieces are embellished with stones and features intricate craft, spectacular design and undeniable glamour.
The world’s largest gold ring and a gold dress will find their pride of place in the halls. Rossella Jewellery’s stall will be adorned by the 1 kg, 21 karat Amirat Taiba (Princess of Taiba) gold dress, while the 58.686 kg gold ring made by Rossella’s parent company Taiba Gold & Jewellery of Saudi Arabia is coming to the MidEast Watch & Jewellery Show for the second time.
