Coral Beach Resort Sharjah has confirmed its participation at the Arabian Travel Market 2016. Exhibiting at the region's largest travel trade exhibition, the deluxe 4-star resort will promote its new facilities and summer packages at both the HMH - Hospitality Management Holdings stand as well as the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) booth.

According to Haytham Aziz, Hotel Manager, Coral Beach Resort Sharjah, said "Coral Beach Resort offers an authentic local experience with modern luxuries that discerning business and leisure travellers expect from world-class properties. Our aim is to sustain and grow business with our established trade network as well as make inroads into new markets, and ATM offers the perfect platform to do so. We had an excellent 2015 enjoying an average occupancy of 80 per cent and above and that trend has continued in the first quarter of 2016.

The SCTDA's tourism development strategy aims to attract more than 10 million tourists to Sharjah by year 2021. To help drive Sharjah Tourism Vision 2021, SCTDA has recently revealed plans to open five overseas offices to promote Sharjah as a tourism destination. The authority will open representative offices in China, India, Russia, Germany and Saudi Arabia in first half of 2016. Haytham stated, "Sharjah is a unique destination and we are very excited about the upcoming prospects. SCTDA has been doing a phenomenal job in promoting the emirates and its various attractions at local, regional and international events such as ATM and we are delighted to partner with them."

Now in its 23rd edition, Arabian Travel Market 2016 will showcase more than 2,800 products and destinations from around the world to over 26,000 buyers and travel trade visitors across four days.
