Under the patronage ofH.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, Expo Centre Sharjah hosts, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the 41st edition of the MidEast Watche & Jewellery show from 27 September to 1 October.
Expo Centre Sharjah organizes this show twice a year, with more than 500 exhibitors participating from 20 countries representing the most prestigious watch and Jewellery houses and manufacturers around the world, who are competing to provide the latest creations and exclusive own design styles during the show, and it is expected that the national pavilions will attract 60,000 visitors to view gold jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, pearl sets; and unique types and models of watches.
His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah, assured that “The MidEast Watch & Jewellery show is a perfect platform for fans of watches and Jewelry, to look at a wide range of the latest creations and designs of the most skilled craftsmen and Jewellery pioneers in the gathered under one roof”.
He added; “The show had assumed an international prestigious place because of its revolving events and exhibitions, where top designers and skilled craftsmen meet to display a wide range of Jewellery and watches inspired by the latest contemporary design lines of traditions, cultures, and arts”.
Al Midfa also noted that; “The MidEast Watch & Jewellery show is based on the highest international standards in organsiation and hospitality, to turn the show into a Commercial Forum, where customers and merchants meet in one place, and many important transactions are entered into between participants from inside and outside the UAE”.
It is expected that the current edition will be a celebration of the finest innovations of high-class Jewelry and watchmaking houses, where the show would be sparkling with the glitter of selected pieces that are breathtaking and full of creativity and professionally burnished, which are to be presented by selected international houses and companies.
It should be noted that the MidEast Watch & Jewellery show is one of the most important happenings in the U.A.E. and the rest of states in the region, the most famous of its kind and the highest in attendance rates, considered as the most popular exhibition for senior traders and public purchasers, and a great opportunity for many regional and international jewelers and watchmakers to display their latest collections in the Middle East.
The MidEast Watch and Jewellery show contributes in highlighting Sharjah as a global center for professionals and those who are interested in Jewellery & Watches; it also highlights the Emirate's economy as a global destination for big world-class events.
