The projects include the Qattaa-Nazwa highway which links Sharjah with the emirate of Abu Dhabi, Salah bin Butti Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Planning and Survey Department, told a call-in programme aired by the Sharjah Television and Radio.
Ninety-five percent of the second phase of the project, being built at a cost of AED209 million, was completed.
Sheikh Sultan ordered the construction of two additional bridges and short roads as part of the project, to be completed by the end of this year, Al Muhairi said.
