The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with China Council for the Promotion of International Trade yesterday. The MOU, which aim to enhance Sharjah’s ties with international trade partners, will pave the way for a unique and mutually beneficial trade partnership between the two business communities.
Through the MoU signed with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - Ningxia Sub-Council, SCCI seeks to establish a long term partnership, involving economic collaboration in various sectors.
It also covers experience and knowledge sharing between the two parties, via a series of seminars, workshops, and meet-ups, introducing high level professional training, and data exchange on commodities, demand and offer, in addition to encouraging members of each party to participate in exhibitions and forums organized by the other party.
The signing was attended by HE Khaled bin Butti Al Hajri, Director- General of SCCI, and Mohammed Ahmed Amin, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business. From the Chinese side, the signing was attended by Xie Zhongmei, Secretary General and Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - Ningxia Sub-Council.
