The Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Continuous Concrete Pour” has been beaten under cooperation of CONMIX LTD., Safari Group, OSCAR Bldg. Contracting and Mazaya Engr. Consultants on 13 – 16 April 2017 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, during raft construction for the new Shopping Centre “Safari Mall”.

CONMIX was able to achieve the supply of 20,246 m3 of ready mixed concrete non-stop which led to breaking the Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Continuous Concrete Pour”. 133 Concrete Transit Mixers, 16 Mobile Concrete Pumps, and more than 230 CONMIX employees were working for this project day and night.

One of the important aspects in such mass concrete work was to make sure that there were no cold joints between the various layers of the pour, and this was achieved by using specially formulated MegaFlow Admixture (High Range Water Reducing and Retarding Super Plasticizer) supplied by CONMIX Construction Chemicals division. Almost 220 Tones (180 thousand liters) of Admixtures were used for this pour.
