Sharjah Tatweer Forum (STF), an entity of the Rubu Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders & Innovators, is pleased to announce its participation as a supporting partner at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival. The Rubu Qarn Foundation supports creating a platform to educate the youth in the basics of being an entrepreneur as a mind-set, which can then be expanded to entrepreneurial activities.
The festival’s objectives are to encourage future start-ups in the creative economy, promote networking opportunities within private and public sectors, and establish a connection between investors with up-and-coming start-ups, with entrepreneurs from different backgrounds. It aims to bring together entrepreneurs, youth, investors, senior government officials, and prominent leaders in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, locally, regionally, and internationally. It will host inspirational talks, panel, workshops, fireside chats, and a pitching competition with an elaborate cash prize.
HE Jassem Al Bloushi, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, said, “Entrepreneurship is a step in the direction of potential, and STF is a viable encourager of bettering oneself through creative implementation and knowledge. The festival gives the youth of our beloved country the opportunity to better understand their potential for greatness.”
He added, “We are pioneers of development, through intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship. We believe that problem-solving and creative-thinking are key aspects for succession, and that these objectives are primary for professional and personal growth. Supporting such a festival as a supporting partner is to represent STF's commitment to the development of the economy of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates, its support of new and innovative ideas and the capacity development of young people”
