This week, visitors of Al Qasba will have the chance to take part in the Big House of Fun Mad Science show activities, watch several stage shows and attend various entertaining educative workshops.
Designed to entertain and yet educate, the Mad Science show interactive and educational activities instill a clearer understanding of Science and how it affects the world around us, the Mad Science show is the perfect opportunity for kids to ‘learn while doing’ and best of all is that the children get to take-home what they have made!
Al Qasba has also organized the Mad Science Stage Show which will feature; Fire & Ice - Dry ice fog storms…
Bubbling potions that trap gas inside… Amazing chemical reactions, Up, Up and Away!
The Mad Science will also host Mad Science Workshops. The practical hands-on workshops will allow children to interact and learn about the wonderful world of science. With exploration booths, fun stations, competitions and wandering Mad Scientists that will roam the crowd and enrol all visitors in the competitions.
Commenting on the Mad Science Show activities, Dina Al Nakhi Events Manager at Al Qasba Development Authority said:
“All the activities are based around flexible real life experiments which simplify the complex practises of physics, chemistry and biology and turn them into fun, interesting games that stimulate and enhance children’s natural curiosity and enthusiasm so that they can explore, investigate and make sense of their world.”
“By involving the kids in activities like this, we found that not only do the games captivate the attention of young children, but they also entertains the parents and gives them new insights on how to educate their children,” concluded Al Nakhi.
The Big House of Fun also offers sand art and hat making lessons as well a lego building workshop.
