The Sharjah City Municipality announced that over the past year, its parks have received more than 43,000 students from various schools to spend their time.
Commenting on this, Thabet Salem Al Tarifi, Director General of Sharjah Municipality has lauded the efforts of The Emirate of Sharjah which has taken great strides in creating entertainment, recreation and social interaction in one place, lauding the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide various places for recreation, recreation and social cohesion.
Thabet Salem Al Tarifi has further highlighted the Municipality’s distinguished role which enables the Municipality to receive the GCC Award for the best municipal work for 2017-2018, ensuring to provide various facilities and requirements that meet the needs of its residents and visitors.
