Six-year-old Omani national Malak Ibrahim Jabri and 23-year-old Jordanian national Mirah Abdelkarim Hammad were announced the winners of Nissan Muranos as part of the Sahara Centre Summer Promotion raffle. Malak won the white and Mirah drove off in a stylish black one.
Apart from the cars, shoppers had a chance to win Dhs 10,000 worth of gift vouchers as part of the Sahara Cash promotion, which ended early this week. Shoppers spending Dhs 200 at any outlet in the mall were eligible to participate in the raffle.
When asked about the car win, an ecstatic Malak said: “I will give it to my father. He will drive me to school, take me to the park and on long drives.”
Malak’s family believes that she is extremely lucky as this was the first time that they ever filled a raffle coupon in her name.
An equally excited Mirah said: “I can’t believe this. I am so excited. I was looking forward to buying a car. I can now drive around in style. I thank Sahara Centre for this wonderful gift.”
As part of the promotion, Sahara Centre played host to a variety of other interesting and entertaining activities. On offer were unbelievable bargains on international brands across the stores in the mall.
