Sharjah City Centre and Ajman City Centre have come together to mark the Holy Month of Ramadan with their first joint shopping promotion. The events include special weekend activities for children and Ramadan tents with majlis from September 1 to October 3.
Cash prize worth AED 10,000 will be given away to one lucky winner every day of the promotion through daily draws. To participate, shoppers need to spend AED 150 or more at any of the 187 outlets across the two malls. When shoppers buy City Cash vouchers worth AED 150, they double their chances of winning.
On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, special activities and entertainment including balloon twisting, face painting, magic shows, juggling and clowns will be lined up for children from 8 pm till11 pm.
There will also be special Ramadan tents with a majlis where shoppers can relax and have coffee and sous, an Arabic cold drink. During the last week of Ramadan and Eid, women can take advantage of complimentary henna sessions by specialists at the malls.
Ali Al Abdullah, Vice President – Divisional Asset Management for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, said the coming together of the two malls for the promotion will benefit the shoppers. “Research shows the majority of our customers who visit Sharjah City Centre also shop at Ajman City Centre and vice versa and this promotion will only increase their chances of winning as they can combine receipts from both malls to enter the draw.”
Operating hours of both Sharjah City Centre and Ajman City Centre during the month of Ramadan will be as follows: 10am to 2pm and 7:30 pm to 1am on weekdays and 7:30 pm to 1am on weekends with Carrefour open from 10 to 1 am.
