The Sporting World Waits For Qatar World Cup 2022
(12 July 2021)

Qatar World Cup 2022 is set to be the 22nd edition of the quadrennial international men's football championship, which will be contested by national teams from FIFA member countries. It will take place in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022.

Qatar is gearing set to host FIFA World Cup, and the peninsula has the potential to host a World Cup unlike any other. It'll be the smallest country ever to have the worldwide finals, for one, permitting guests to explore the nation with ease and indeed arrange for observing different matches on the same day. Qatar has also spent recent years constructing some of the most eco-friendly and architecturally advanced sporting facilities ever seen. All will be on show to the world as the greatest show on earth finally lands in the Middle East.

Qatar's proposal to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022 was known as the Qatar World Cup bid. Qatar will be the first Arab country to host the World Cup, with a population of 2 million people. The bid committee was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, son of Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the then-Emir of Qatar.Qatar has pitched their hosting of the event as representing the Arab World, and has received widespread support from Arab League member states.

The majority of the venues will be modular in design, allowing up to 50% of the seats to be disassembled and donated to football projects around the world, assisting in the game's global development. The locations surrounding Qatar's FIFA World CupTM venues will serve as community gathering places.

The climate is hot and humid from June to September, with daytime temperatures as high as 122 °F (50 °C). The spring and fall months, April, May, October, and Novemberare temperate, averaging about 63 °F (17 °C), and the winters are slightly cooler. Precipitation is scarce, with less than 3 inches (75 mm) falling annually (generally in winter).

Whatever the weather conditions outside, advanced cooling systems will keep fans, players, officials, and spectators cool inside the stadiums all year. Matchday journeys will be smooth, comfortable, and environmentally friendly thanks to new metro and rail connections, as well as shaded pathways. Families and groups of fans from all over the world will be treated to a safe, human-centered event that celebrates and symbolizes the hospitality that Qatar and the region are known for.
