H.H. Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday, presided over the first meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of Al Dhaid University.

H.H. the Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the BoT members, acknowledging their expertise and expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to the university's advancement.

The meeting saw the approval of key committees such as the Academic Committee, chaired by Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashemi; Compliance and Internal Audit Committee chaired by Dr Musabah Saeed Al Ketbi; Finance Committee chaired by Engineer Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi; and Resource Development Committee chaired by Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji.

Discussions during the meeting encompassed the university's vision, policies, objectives, and operational procedures aligned with its ambitious goals. Updates on the university's construction progress, including the provision of facilities, classrooms, laboratories, and technological infrastructure to support education, were also presented.
