More than 165,000 individuals in the UAE and around the world have benefited from the distribution of sacrificial meat that Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has carried out. There are 29,600 registered beneficiaries at the association's main office and regional branches in the east and central regions, as well as more than 135,000 beneficiaries from 43 different countries around the world.
Abdullah Saif bin Hindi, Head of the Higher Committee for the Eid Al-Adha Campaign at the Sharjah Charity Association, said that the distribution had concluded at the main headquarters in Samnan as well as at the branch offices in the central and eastern regions.
With the support of the UAE embassies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the regional offices outside the country have completed giving out the sacrificial meat, which has reached over 135,000 people in 43 of the 110 countries that have received aid from the association, according to the head of the committee.
