H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah on Monady opened an exhibition for ten Arab and international artists at the Collections Building, Arts Area in Sharjah.
Sheikh Sultan toured the venue where 50 selected works are on display.
Curator of the collection Sharjah Art Foundation President Hoor Bint Sultan Al Qasimi briefed Sheikh Sultan on the "Drift - an exploration of urban ’&’ suburban landscapes" Exhibition which she said "looks at the ways we experience and understand the world around us through a selection of works from Sharjah Art Foundation’s collection." "Through its revelations and provocations, this exhibition suggests new and imaginative ways of exploring and discovering the urban and suburban landscapes we encounter in our daily lives," she added.
Among the ten participating artists are Doug Henders, Hiroyuki Masuyama, Hala Al Ani, Kader Atiyya, Tareq Al Ghoussain and others.
