Over 100 institutions and corporations have offered about 3, 000 jobs during the Sharjah Career Show ’Tawdheef’, which concluded on Friday at the Sharjah Expo Centre.
Saif Al Midfa, Director General of the Sharjah Expo Centre said many exhibitors had received thousands of employment applications during the show, a move that reflects the success of event in the views of job seekers, especially from the local cadres.
He expressed his pleasure about the huge success of the show, thanks to the concerted efforts by the public institutions and private sector.
The event drew on the last day many visitors, who submitted their applications in line with the government’s strategy to employ Emiratis to raise the percentage of Emiratisation in both public and private sectors.
