Sahara Centre, the leading family and shopping destination in the UAE, today, announced the lucky winners of its Sahara Centre Spring Promotion. A 48-year-old American national Sausen Abou Khzam won the BMW Motorbike and a 48-year-old Russian tourist, Savichev Arkadiy, won the Audi Q5 SUV.
Talking about the win, Sausen Abou Khzam said: “Winning is an unbelievable feeling. I am so excited; it’s a BMW motorbike. I never imagined I would win anything and had never ridden a bike either, but the thrill of winning is enough for me.”
The winner of the Audi, Savichev Arkadiy said: “It was the best holiday ever. I love the UAE and will come again and again; the country has so much to offer. I hope I win every time. I never believed in raffles, but I stand corrected.”
Mr. Akram Ammar, General Manager of the Sahara Centre, said: “At Sahara Centre, we always believe in providing unique and exciting offers. We have had a good start to 2012; the Sahara Centre Spring promotion was welcomed well by all our customers. We registered a 15% increase in traffic and 20% in sale during the promotion period”. He further added, “We will continue to raise the bar every time and promise to give our visitors the best shopping experience. Finally, I would like to congratulate the lucky winners and wish all our customers the best for the future draws.”
The winners were announced on February 10th at the Grand Raffle held at the end of the promotion which ran from January 5 to February 10. For every AED200 spent during the promotion, shoppers had a chance to enter the raffle draw.
As part of the Sahara Centre Spring Promotion, superstar cartoon characters Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and his friend Patrick the Starfish and The PowerPuff Girls made exclusive appearances to the public. Apart from this, there were a wide array of attractions, including mega discounts in the shops, coupled with games, competitions and kids’ workshops.
