Al Majaz Amphitheatre Reschedules Lebanese Composer Michel Fadel’s Concert to January 24
Al Majaz Amphitheatre, Sharjah has announced that popular Lebanese composer Michel Fadel’s concert scheduled for November 15 as part of the #letsmajaz music season, has been rescheduled to January 24. The acclaimed Lebanese musician will be accompanied on stage by opera singer and tenor Marc Reaidy, soprano singer Rita Bou Saleh, R&B soulster Denzel White, Kiona McCullum, and Ukraine’s Kiev Virtuosi orchestra comprising hundred musicians, under the baton of its Grammy-nominated conductor, Dmitry Yablonsky.
Fadel, who is renowned for his award-winning scores that merge Oriental music and classical traditions, will take the centre-stage at Al Majaz Amphitheatre on January 24 to wow the audience with his modern fusion music. Michel’s new wave music is expected to present an entirely original perspective on Arabic music. The chief pianist for legendary Lebanese music icon, Fairuz, Michel has also worked with virtually every well-known artist on the Arabian music scene.
Al Majaz Amphitheatre has emerged as the popular cultural and entertainment destination of the Emirate with its hosting of world-class cultural events and concerts featuring internationally acclaimed artists and superstars from across the Arab world and around the world. The list of artistes it has hosted is legendary -- from Greek musical legend Yanni, Latin music legend Julio Iglesias and a host of Arab superstars like Mohammed Abdu, Marcel Khalife, Nawal El Kuwaitia to Emirati music sensations Balqees and Hussain Al Jassmi.
