Smart Learning : UAE’s government recently launched a AED1bn ($272m) initiative to improve technology in the country’s schools. This programme will cover all the schools across the country and would be implemented over a period of five years.
The project aims to induce modern learning environment by introducing “smart classes” in all schools and educational institutions and providing every pupil with a tablet PC and high speed 4G networks. The initiative also seeks specialized training programmes for teachers and a new scientific support curricula.
