Shakespeare and Co. Opens New Outlets in Sharjah
In a little over 2 years, Shakespeare and Co’s repertoire of establishments has doubled from 9 to 18, highlighting their aggressive development pursuits in the UAE.The first opening is in Sharjah’s majestic Al Majaz Waterfront, which will be the 2nd location in the emirate and 17th in the UAE. Al Majaz Waterfront is a sprawling family friendly entertainment complex in the heart of the city, comprising of various attractions and restaurants and is conveniently located near Corniche Street, the city’s main thoroughfare. Situated a mere stone’s throw from the acclaimed Sharjah Musical Fountain, the restaurant features ground and mezzanine floor terraces that will provide our guests an unobstructed view of the mystical water shows. The multi level establishment features a main dining room on the ground level and a family and kids play room on the second level, ultimately accommodating up to 200 patrons.
The second unveiling lies in the centerpiece of the up and coming suburb of Abu Dhabi of Bahiya, Deerfields Town Square Shopping Centre, and will be the 4th location in the capital, and 18th in the Emirates. A beautiful 2 storey venue conveniently located just off the Dubai/Abu Dhabi Highway, the restaurant is situated in the restaurant pavilion just behind the main complex. The restaurants seats up to 320 guests, and at 9,000 sq. ft, it has supplanted our Souk Al Bahar location in Dubai as the largest restaurant in their portfolio. The mezzanine level features a family room and an indoor smoking room, as well as a spacious terrace on each level that our patrons can enjoy during the pleasant cooler months.
Both restaurants shall feature Shakespeare and Co’s design hallmarks of intricate lace, plush furnishings, dazzling crystals and walls of soothing pastel colors painted using artisan techniques. These locations will showcase all famous pastries, chocolates and cakes in the distinctive pâtisserie counter that have become the centerpieces of all Shakespeare and Co. establishments.
As 2013 draws to a close, Shakespeare and Co. is proud to have successfully opened 4 restaurants in 3 Emirates in the UAE, a milestone for number of new outlets in a single year. In Q2 2014 they are scheduled to open another two outlets in the Capital and two in Sharjah.
