Sahara Centre launches 360 degrees virtual tour
The Sahara Centre is one of the leading shopping destinations in the UAE and is strategically located on the Dubai-Sharjah Highway. Since it opened its doors in February 2002 the mall has become a Sharjah landmark that is today bigger and better than ever before. Sahara Centre has recently launched a virtual tour on its new web site at www.saharacentre.comIt allows families experience a diverse range of shopping outlets, dining options and entertainment facilities offering some of the world’s leading brands in a convenient and easy to access location.
This year Sharjah’s most popular lifestyle destination expanded its offer with new upgraded facilities, restaurants and additional stores as part of a one million square feet extension that is now completed.
Sahara Centre offers an enormous selection and variety of stores including fashion, sports, toys, cosmetics, jewellery, books, home furnishings and electronics among others. Some of the mall’s key anchor stores include Debenhams, Marina Exotic Home Interiors, Toys ‘R’ Us, Home Centre and Spinneys as well as entertainment such as Grand Sahara Cinemas and Adventureland.
The new extension provides 120 new places to shop including Zara, Iconic, Matalan, Emax, Fitness First and Baby Shop. Likewise, prominent brands include Mango, Lacoste, Steve Madden, Tommy Hillfiger, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Promod, Bershka, Pull and Bear, Rodeo Drive, Ferre, Vero Moda among others.
Sahara Centre remains one of the most popular family destinations in the country with the 70,000 square feet Adventureland providing 20 thrilling rides and attractions including the UAE’s first indoor roller coaster, first multi-level train and first indoor water flume ride.
The new Adventure Zone meanwhile has a jungle/safari park theme and offers an even wider selection of thrilling rides and other forms of family entertainment and is located in the new extension area.
As part of the ongoing improvements to the Mall the Grand Cinemas have been totally revamped to include a host of new facilities, making a night at the movies an even more exciting experience.
Hungry shoppers and families can choose from a wide selection of food and beverage outlets located in the food court where they can find an array of international cuisines, alongside 10 cafes and 9 restaurants. It is truly around the world on a plate at the Sahara Centre with 51 outlets that include Italian, Chinese, Iranian to Indian and Arabic, all of which are guaranteed to meet the tastes of all age groups and nationalities.
Among the new dining experiences on offer are a range of outlets that include Paul, Chopsticks, Bennigans, Al Halabi, Vapiano, Applebee’s, Russo’s New York Pizzeria, Esfahan and Kosebasi.
Sahara Centre is open from 10am to 11pm on weekdays and from 10am until 12am at weekends, except on Fridays at 2pm.
